Micheal  Schlossberg's Tweets and Consequences: 60 Social Media Disasters in Politics
and How To Avert A Career-Ending Mistake.

Perhaps the most famous example of social media disaster in politics occurred when former Congressman Anthony Weiner rocked the political world with a tweet that included a picture of his boxer-covered genitalia.  Since then many politicians have embarrassed themselves in the social media with crude and often outrageous posts and tweets.

 a Pennsylvania State Representative, Schlossberg has worked diligently to use social media to better connect with his constituents.  Schlossberg is the first Pennsylvania State Representative to hold a social media town hall.  He has also helped organize issue-oriented social media events on specific subjects, including LGBT equality and the Pennsylvania budget.  Schlossberg previously worked for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, the 9^th largest Chamber in the country, where he created and operated the Chamber’s entire social media presence. During this time, he also conducted trainings on how businesses could use social media.
