THE POLITICS OF MURDER

Saturday August 1st, 2pm pt/5pm et live on outlawradiolive.com SPECIAL GUEST MARGO NASH The Politics Of Murder 2nd Edition – Updated and Expanded The Politics Of Murder 2nd Edition: The Power and Ambition Behind "The Altar Boy Murder Case" On a hot July night in 1995, Janet Downing was stabbed 98 times inside her Somerville, Massachusetts, home. Within hours, police identified 15-year-old Eddie O'Brien, the best friend of one of her sons, as the suspect. Eddie had no criminal history, no clear motive, and no apparent opportunity. Yet his case emerged during a national panic over juvenile "superpredators," when Massachusetts officials were pushing to prosecute more children as adults. His highly publicized trial helped change the state's juvenile laws. Attorney Margo Nash, appointed as Eddie's guardian ad litem, attended every court session and later gained access to the case files, forensic reports, and trial transcripts. Her conclusion was disturbing: Eddie could not have committed the murder. In this expanded second edition of THE POLITICS OF MURDER, Nash goes deeper into newly unearthed evidence of prosecutorial misconduct, withheld exculpatory material, and manipulated forensic findings. Was Eddie O'Brien used to advance a political agenda? What will it take to overturn his wrongful conviction? About Author Margo Nash Author-Margo-NashMARGO NASH has been a litigator of both civil and criminal cases in Massachusetts for the past 43 years. Since 2016, her practice has been limited to working with Eddie O’Brien and his lawyers to overturn his wrongful conviction.

Starkweather Murder Spree

Our guest Saturday 2pm Pacific time on Outlawradiolive.com is author Jeff McArthur! In 1958, 19-year-old Charlie Starkweather went on a murder spree that paralyzed Nebraska, shocked the nation, and left 11 people dead. With him when he was captured was his 14-year-old ex-girlfriend Caril Fugate. The question soon arose, was Caril a kidnapped victim, or a heartless accomplice? Appointed to her case, Attorney John McArthur initially accepted the assignment out of a sense of constitutional duty. But as he delved deeper, he found that the truth was far more complicated than anyone was letting on. Up against incredible odds, and with a strong conviction of her innocence, McArthur remained with Caril and fought for her freedom for 18 years. For this service, he took no pay, accepting the case pro bono. This book PRO BONO, follows the long struggle of McArthur, his partner Merril Reller, and John's son James as they took on the Nebraska legal system and a public that had already determined Caril's guilt before ever hearing a word of testimony. The story continues through all it influenced, such as Stephen King, who became a horror writer because of it, Bruce Springsteen, who wrote a whole album about it, Terrence Malick, Oliver Stone, Martin Sheen, and Peter Jackson, who wrote his first major movie based on the Starkweather-Fugate incident. Pro Bono explores aspects of this incredible story that have never been revealed before, and sheds new light on these terrifying and complex events.

Great Show Saturday!

Saturday, July 11th we return with a fascinating guest and an incredible story! SERIAL CITY: Detroit and the Hunt for Multiple Serial Predators by G.H. Cliff. The True Story of Detroit Being Overrun by Multiple Serial Predators at the same time. At the turn of the twenty-first century, Detroit investigators faced a nightmare few police divisions ever encounter: multiple serial predators operating at the same time, in the same city, often targeting vulnerable victims in overlapping neighborhoods. To the public, the crimes appeared scattered. A schoolgirl attacked on her way to class. A woman assaulted before dawn. A victim deceived, coerced, or ambushed. A body discovered. Separate incidents. Separate headlines. Inside Detroit’s Major Crimes Division, a more disturbing picture began to form. As detectives compared reports, victim statements, timelines, geography, and behavior, the investigation became something far more difficult than a search for a single suspect. The city was not hunting one predator. It was hunting several! About Author G.H. Cliff phd is a former police chief, law enforcement commander, and investigative analyst specializing in complex investigations, behavioral risk, compliance, cybercrime, and exploitation dynamics. He has directed national white-collar crime research, supported DOJ compliance work, co-authored true crime books, and published on investigative methodology, public safety, and organizational behavior.

Saturday on TRUE CRIME UNCENSORED!

KILLING THE LIEUTENANT The Cocain Wars in Miami!! Deep dive into this new book 2pm pt/4pm central:5pm Easten on Outlawradiolive.com The infamy of Miami’s cocaine wars of the 1970s and 80s is forever etched into the darkest chapters of US history, and Lt. Raul Diaz was on the frontlines for all of it. The decorated and controversial law enforcement figure identified the shifting tide in the Magic City when law enforcement lost their grip on crime as a new breed of criminal flooded South Florida to ply their billion-dollar trade. In a deadly exclamation mark, Colombian cocaine godmother Griselda Blanco and her assassins swept through the city with a bloody and ruthless ambition that left countless dead bodies along the way. Lt. Diaz organized and spearheaded the multi-agency task force CENTAC-26 to combat Blanco and the cartels. Raul came to the US at age thirteen accompanied by only his younger brother and overcame insurmountable odds after finally finding law enforcement as his calling. He never did things the traditional way, and that wasn’t a popular position in the regulated world of police work. His successes came at a costly price, both professionally and personally, putting him in the crosshairs of those with an axe to grind, shockingly on both sides of law enforcement. The man profiled in books, documentaries, and the Netflix series Griselda is here to share the story previously told by others—now, finally told by the one man who knows the truth behind every kilo, kidnapping, and corpse. About Author Lt. Raul J. Diaz Author Lt. Raul J. Diaz Raul was born in Cuba in 1947 and migrated to the US in 1961. He joined the Miami Metro-Dade Police as a uniform patrolman, worked his way up through the Organized Crime Bureau, Terrorist and Security Unit, Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics, Homicide, and Miami International Airport. During his 13 years of service with MDPD he received numerous commendations and awards from the US Congress; federal, state and local agencies; private citizens and organizations; and foreign governments. Raul retired honorably from the department in 1983 with the rank of lieutenant and entered private practice by founding ICDA Investigations, where he still serves as President and CEO. Raul enjoys fishing, photography, music, reading, and spending time with his two daughters and two grandchildren. About Author Sean Oliver Author Sean OliverSean has never engaged a drug lord in a shootout but is the author of ten books including his most recent release, Monkey Morales. He has written four Amazon #1 bestselling nonfiction books, as well as three novels in the supernatural thriller genre. Additionally, he has written several screenplays and is a 2021 Writer’s Digest Writing Competition winner in the script category for a pilot called Trixie. Blueprint Of a Killer

Saturday on TRUE CRIME UNCENSORED (2pm pt/5pm et) on Oulawradiolive.com we have BLUEPRINT OF A KILLER by author Heather Mroczenski What if the most dangerous part of a serial killer's story happened long before the first victim? BLUEPRINT OF A KILLER: Monsters in the Making, from Childhood to Murder asks the uncomfortable question most true crime books avoid: how did this start? What happened to cause the headlines, body counts, and documentaries? It does this in a unique way: for the first half of each of the ten stories, the reader is blindfolded. You don't know who you're reading about, only their gender and their experiences. This forces you to set aside assumptions and focus on the human realities of neglect, abuse, trauma, and attachment failures that quietly shaped them. These were not monsters who appeared overnight. They were children first, molded by parents, peers, and systems that neglected, punished, or ignored their needs. By the time the crimes unfold, patterns of fear, rage, and distorted morality are already in place. The murders are discussed, but the victims are never forgotten. Their lives are acknowledged with care, never reduced to statistics. The focus stays on the developmental pathways and warning signs that formed the blueprint for later violence. Drawing from psychology, developmental science, and documented case histories, BLUEPRINT OF A KILLER examines how trauma, environment, and biology converge to shape human behavior. It challenges the notion that killers are simply "born evil," while refusing to excuse the harm they caused. By the time the blindfold is lifted, the reader sees not only the crimes but the complex human stories that preceded them. About Author Heather Mroczenski Heather Mroczenski is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a life-long love of writing. She has lived in Nashville, TN for her entire adult life but moved to Wisconsin in 2026 to be closer to family. Outside of her work, Heather is a triathlete and long-distance runner who enjoys any kind of fitness challenge. She is also an avid reader and finishes over 100 books per year. Heather is married and lives with her two goldendoodles, who bring equal parts joy and chaos to her daily life. Filed Under: Blueprint Of A Killer, New Releases, True Crime Books

The Tylenol Murders

Ckick this link NOW!"https://open.spotify.com/episode/4w58HZcocBZiKci4tCpf4Q?si=xYvtFAAHSJmSKjtfKvzb3g" target="_blank"> our guest is the author of THE TYLENOL MURDERS!
This is his memory of events: Chicago, 1982. Seven people swallowed Tylenol capsules meant to heal, then they died within minutes. America changed overnight, then the killer vanished into darkness, and that darkness lived in my home. I was eleven, and my father was The Tylenol Killer that terrorized a nation. He created chaos, and confessed with his last breath. I uncovered the truth, and the rot behind his badge. He built lies, and I built a case. I tore the mask from the madness and discovered that each clue led deeper into a labyrinth of deceit. I stripped his name from mine, and I stripped his power too. He found me, and threatened my life, but I did not run. Instead, I shined a light into his darkness. From the son who would not stay silent, THE TYLENOL MURDERS: A Father’s Confession to His Son reveals a confession buried under four decades of fear, complicity, and blue-walled denial.

FORMER HELLS ANGELS PRESIDENT " PEE WEE " GOLDSMITH TELLS THE TRUTH

Live Saturday 2pm pt on outlawradiolive.com

...a true-life description of the events in my life... as a man, father, husband, wrestler, boxer, greaser, Sinners Motorcycle Club member, and, of course, a full patch member of the notorious Hells Angels. I lived the life of a real deal leader in several different chapters of the Angels. And I always lived up to what I thought was the true meaning of "Brotherhood" as best I could. But the ideals I had eventually came crashing down as my expectations of many of the members of infamous outlaw biker club (and other clubs, too) were not the same as mine. That's why I eventually had to leave the Angels behind and quit that lifestyle. I saw that the ideals of '"brotherhood" were just words to many, with no real meaning backing them up. There's no disrespect intended to anyone associated with this club, or any of the other clubs mentioned in the pages of this book. To this day, I still maintain many great friendships with brothers from the Angels as well as the other clubs I've been associated with.
